Acer Netbooks
The Acer Netbooks are the most popular these days. Priced at less than $300, these Acer Netbooks are an excellent companion for bloggers, reporters as well as for the students.
I have been using my netbook for about an year now, purchased when it was just released in mid 2009 from Walmart. And ever since I have been using it for almost all my work – including some that are very stressful on the processor.
I wish the battery life was longer. When new, the 3 cell battery would hold for an hour and a half, but now its good for only 45 minutes. That apart, I wished the keyboard was a little sturdier.
I love this keyboard, compared to all the other models I have seen, this keyboard is very soft touch. But while its fast & easy on the fingers, it is not durable. I had my pup walk on it once and ever since I lost 2 keys. I could not get a replacement keyboard cheap, so I somehow glued the broken keys back onto the stub!
The Acer Netbooks are a great value for the price.
