Blackberry Touch Screen Storm

After the mixed reviews and not so great performance of the Blackberry’s first touch screen mobile phone Storm, the new Storm 2 is getting some better reviews.

The first release was more hyped and surely performed much poorly compared to the Apple iPhone. There were several issues, including poor screen response time, poor battery life, lack of good apps etc.

While the phone performed subnormal, many users blamed Verizon for poor quality of call connections, frequently dropped calls etc.

The Storm 2, leased after about a year, was built on a much stable version on the operating system. From the few minutes I played with it, I found that the response of the touch screen was definitely an improvement.

The calls were much stable and I could switch easily between applications, internet applications & any incoming calls. Personally I also felt that the call quality was much better than the first Storm.
